Industry tour of Summit Nanotech

The ECS Calgary Student Chapter had the opportunity to tour Summit Nanotech, a Calgary-based company leading the way in sustainable direct lithium extraction (DLE). Founded in 2018, Summit Nanotech has grown to a team of over 50 scientists and engineers, earning international recognition and securing significant funding to accelerate commercialization of its environmentally responsible technologies.

This event gave students a chance to connect with professionals in the energy innovation space, explore career paths, and see firsthand how scientific research translates into real-world solutions.
